Description of Employment:
Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
Utilizing computer-based diagnostics, troubleshoot engine and equipment failures
Disassemble, repair, and reassemble components as necessary
Complete a multi-point vehicle inspection in accordance with preventative maintenance worksheets
Coordinate with supervisor for all assigned duties of work regarding all parts and time for job orders
Perform preventative maintenance on units
Other duties assigned per supervisor.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
Ability to pass a drug screen, background check and physical exam
Possess a valid driver's license, a CDL Class A or B is preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Helpful Skills:
Diesel Technician Degree (not required)
ASE Certifications
Cummins/OEM Manufacturer Certifications
Allision Certification
Eaton Certification
Understanding of electrical systems
Working knowledge of hydraulic and air brake systems
Bilingual ability (written and spoken English and Spanish)
