6K a year Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a Quality Inspector for our Houston, TX location.
As a Quality Inspector you will make visual land measured inspections of materials and product to ensure conformance with standards.
Arcosa Shoring Products makes trench shoring equipment for the construction industry.
Our dedicated team builds high-quality trench shields and shoring products that are made to last.

What you'll do:
Follow all appropriate codes and regulations Complete inspection records and reports Communicate and work effectively with a diverse workforce Assist Quality Coordinator Orientations and Quality training for small to medium sized groups Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and strong time management.
Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements:
Solid background in mig welding Must be able to read blue prints and recognize critical quality characteristics Knowledge of basic measurement tools such as:
tape measures, protractors, veneer calipers and micrometers Computer skills for programs such as Outlook, Excel, & PowerPoint Attendance is a must Preferred
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Welding Technology or equivalent At least 2 years in Quality Inspector Role Desire or aptitude to purse American Welding Society AWS Citified Welding Inspector CWI Certification SHG259.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
