Electrical Engineer

LHH Has partnered with a national leader in offshore wind energy to support hiring of their next Electrical Engineer.
In this role your responsibilities will encompass everything from new build documentation to onsite field supportYour Role:
o Design, control, and implement electrical systems for the new and existing fleet.
o Prepares proposals, drawings and inquiries as required to meet the needs of the equipment group and the project estimating group.
o Coordinates with subcontractors and suppliers to meet design requirements of electrical systems.
o Executes upgrade project proposals including pricing, specifications and single line drawings as required.
o Coordinates with regulatory bodies for approvals of electrical systems.
o Coordinates with the respective department(s), such as mechanical engineering, maintenance, IT, etc.
on projects requiring joint execution.
o Travels to project locations around the USA to work on assignments as assigned by the Electrical Engineering Manager.
o Maintains accurate copies of drawings and software in the company's electronic document system.
o Performs on-call work during normal working hours and after hours as necessary.
o Repairing and performing quality control of electrical equipment.
o Follows safe and compliant working procedures.
o Providing technical leadership to employees and contractorsAbout You:
Minimum Qualificationso Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering PLUSo 5
year' experience in electrical engineeringPreferred Qualificationso Experience in the marine industryo Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standardso Excellent project management skillso Hands-on experience using drawing design (i.
e.
AutoCAD, Eplan) and calculation (i.
e.
Easy Power) softwareo Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
o Ability to take the initiative, work independently, make decisions and develop recommendations.
o Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally the organization.
Additional Information:
o Salary:
$90-100k plus 5% bonuso Located onsite in Houston, TXo 401(k) program that includes 100% company matching of the first 6% of employee contributions with immediate vesting.
