He doesn t foresee it being an ala caret request person; for example, someone just asked for an update on their VM; within Azure provisioning a new VM; much of his team s time is spending time with Citrix; it requires a fair amount of babysitting compared to Azure VDI; Many times, there session is hung and they are asking if they can reset their VDM; they got a request for a new VM with SAP for that group; it appears to be day to day needs based on the needs of the business;Agiloft ticketing system; any type of SLI or SLA s to be aware of; no escalated number of tickets per day;The total of end-users; (Power has about 2k; the people who use Citrix is about 400-500 peeps)Experience they have the first time as opposed to solving an issues is more than solving it quickly; they are very methodical and don t move that fast at times; The ONE TEAM environment is important; they have to have a level of patience; their environment is not perfect; they are looking for someone to come in and We have enough to know the technology stack; no need to go down that road;About:
Seeking a talented Azure VDI Engineer III to join our client's team. Our client is one of the world's leading industrial groups spanning energy, logistics & infrastructure, industrial machinery, aerospace and defense. Looking for someone with excellent customer service skills combined with sharp written and verbal communication to support their current Azure VD environment.
Responsibilities:
This will get a fair amount of autonomy and flexibility to manage their schedule as they see fit, as long as they are able to get the job done (i.e. choose which days you would like to go in and more!)This person will report directly to the Infrastructure Manager. They will receive tickets from their L1 support through their ticketing system, Agiloft, and should then update L1 support with the resolution as a fix is put in place. This manager is very detailed oriented and wants someone who is detailed in their explanation of the problem, as well as the steps they are going to take/did take in regard to issue resolution.This person will be given autonomy to handle the issues as they see fit based on prioritization, and he is not as concerned with a quick fix as he is concerned with getting the fix right the first time.
