Mechanical Design Engineer

We are hiring for Mechanical Design Engineer (Rotatory Equipment Engineer) for our customer Signal Power.
Mechanical designer with experience of rotatory tools designing (generators, Turbines, motor designing exp).
It is 100% onsite job in Houston TX.
Please provide suitable profiles.
Roles &
Responsibilities:
o Prepare General Arrangement drawings for client approval and shop fabrication.
o Prepare all detail drawings for shop fabrication.
o Prepare Bills of Materials and documentation required for procurement.
o Provide support to resolve / clarify fabrication or production issues.
o Work with Project Engineer and/or structural engineer, provide equipment layout drawing and anchor location drawing o Participate in process improvements and innovation.
o Perform other design duties as required.
o Ensure policies and procedures are followed as per quality requirements.
o Proficiency in SolidWorks 2016 to 2018, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word), SAP, PDM/EPDM/Vault software.
o Creativity and analytical skills o Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner o Provide support to the design, development, prototype fabrication, and verification testing of products and production equipment o Perform detailed system and sub-system analysis, simulation, and design work as required o Work with complicated mechanical system concepts and detailed designs to properly determine the necessary design tradeoffs o Participate in the assembly, system test planning, and system test procedure generation for first articles or first piece builds o Develop project charters, scope statements, schedules, plans, requirements documents, and other project documentation o Manage integration, communications, scope, budget, schedule, procurement, resources, quality, and risk o Support technical proposal generation.
Write white papers to document the application of new technologies for development of new products, or improvements to existing products o Adequately document processes, procedures and testing using structured formats.
Where format do not currently exist, provide a recommended format for review o Learn and utilize the Quality Management System (QMS).
Update the QMS when changing work instructions, forms, documents or procedures o Interface with external customers as required, to support corporate goals and objectives.
Solicit new business and provide technical customer service as needed or required o Continually search for and make recommendations to improve design and process efficiencies and reduce supply chain costs o Judiciously source components for new designs, balancing the trade-offs between cost, quality, and lead time o Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications o Design test control apparatus and equipment and develop procedures for testing productsRequired Skills (Technical Competency) Rotatory tools designing experience (generators, Turbines, motor designing exp) Knowledge of skids, mechanical components and good working understanding of P&ID o Proficiency in SolidWorks 2018 to 2020, o AutoCAD, Inventor o Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word), o SAP, PDM/EPDM/Vault software.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
