SR. Financial Analyst
An employer in Houston, Tx is seeking a Sr.
Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team and play a key and active role in providing economic, market and commercial information and analysis to support the Financial, Commercial and Strategy groups within the organization around the development of LNG projects and associated pipelines as well as the gas supply to feed it.
This person must be a team player with independent thinking and strong analytical and modeling skills.
They must be accustomed to work in a dynamic and flexible environment and be willing to seek and solve complex problems through data driven analysis with attention to detail.
This person will be responsible for building and maintaining complex Excel models to support pricing, structuring, and valuation of natural gas and LNG contracts and transactions, supporting the continued development of the company's financial and commercial modeling infrastructure and repositories of fundamental market data, and Identify value proposition and inherent risk to support corporate development.
Additionally, they will perform analysis of business decisions and strategic issue including plant operations, commodity markets, term contracts, and transaction pricing and be responsible for building Excel models to develop and provide analytical studies on forward curves and energy commodity prices.
Lastly, they will Independently prepare advanced ad-hoc analysis, reports, and presentations as needed and present analysis results coherently and succinctly.
LNG or Natural Gas industry experience5
years as a financial analyst Strong Excel modeling skills and ability to model, run and analyze statistical and financial dataStrong experience with financial modeling and quantitative analysis relevant to risk managementDemonstrate strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on attention to detailProven ability to work well within a team and manage several projects in a deadline-oriented environment with a high degree of accuracy and accountabilityExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalBachelors degree Recommended Skills Attention To Detail Commodity Market Communication Corporate Development Customer Value Proposition Economy Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
