Network Architect

An Oil & Gas client of Insight Global's is looking for a Network Architect to join their team.
This person will be responsible for the design and delivery of all that could stem from merger and acquisition work, cost efficiency, TSA and regulatory requirements that require restructuring, and overarching IT optimization.
The Network Architect will be tasked with the Discovery Phase:
deciding what this looks like conceptually and what the business needs are.
Next the Planning Phase:
designing what this looks like from a technical standpoint, and which IT teams are responsible for what processes.
The architect will slowly be more and more and more hands-off as the projects move into engineering phases, staying informed but only coming back to the table if the plan needs to be adjusted.
This role is an on-site as needed position (no more than a few days per week).
Experience with NIST853Experience in a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, OCI) Any relevant certifications or coursework10-15 years of experience of in relevant IT10 years of experience in Network ArchitectureStrong experience in a variety of enterprise level environments and able to draw from experienceBroad knowledge of networks (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.
)Experience with Terraform to create and modify network infrastructureExperience with Ansible to manage and deploy network infrastructureKnowledgeable in security frameworks and experience architecting in respect to security measures Recommended Skills Amazon Web Services Ansible Business Requirements Cisco Juniper Microsoft Azure Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
