Financial Specialist
Job Description Job Description We are currently seeking a Financial Specialist to join our team! The Financial Specialist role will assist the regional Finance Manager withcustomer account setups, data analytics, forecasting and maintaining,creating and reconciling work tickets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Financial review/analysis of data Review invoices from vendors and subcontractors for approval, coding, and submission to the Accounts Payable department Validate pricing setup sheets Database entry (Customer setup; job setup; bill codes by job) Creation, maintenance, and closure of purchase orders Account and billing setup and changes Finance Reports as requested Investigation and analysis of past due accounts Follow up with customers regarding AR Comfortable using and learning new software and technology tools.
Other duties as assigned Requirements:
Strong customer focus and communication skills.
Proficient using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills preferred Ability to communicate effectively with different departments, customers, and employees via phone, email, virtually and in person Strong problem-solving skills and able to prioritize Ability to prepare accurate/detailed accounting data Must be self-directed, customer-focused, and organized Desired Education and
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a similar role Previous experience in industries such as staffing, security, janitorial preferred Location:
