Repsol has an exciting opportunity for an early career professional to join our global Excellence Center as a Planning Analyst within the Planning & Portfolio Management (P&PM) team.
This team, as part of the Excellence Center, provides support to E&P business across Repsol's global portfolio (all countries in which the company is present).
The position will based out of our US Headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas, where we follow a hybrid work model (two days in the office plus teleworking) and a compressed work schedule (9/80).
The Planning Analyst will ideally be a recent engineering or economics graduate bringing a few years of Upstream O&G experience.
This role is an excellent opportunity to add to this foundation, gaining experience and exposure within a global Oil & Gas organization and global E&P projects, developing your technical planning & portfolio management technical toolkit, engaging in a broad range of upstream economic analysis, and mentorship from Sr.
Planning Analysts and Discipline Managers within the Excellence Center P&PM team.
Responsibilities Economically analyze and evaluate the investment and business development proposals, verifying their alignment with Group and carrying out subsequent follow up.
Consolidate and analyze long range plans and prepare the information necessary for their submission and approval.
Support the manager in the process of monitoring fulfilment of investment proposals and the Strategic Plan.
Economically analyze and evaluate the E&P assets for reserves closing and impairment test exercises.
Support the manager in analyzing the business portfolio, growth opportunities, and restructuring.
Maintain portfolio tools and the description of the portfolio, ensuring that the data is updated and corrected.
Create and prepare information periodically (annual report, 20-F, Fact Book, Q&A, etc.
) in coordination with all other departments involved and carry out any necessary studies.
Prepare reports on environment monitoring, competition, and the market, and analyze their implications for the competitive position of the businesses, the Group, and corporate development activity.
Prepare and maintain databases and reports for management.
Minimum Requirements Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any company without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics.

years of related Upstream oil & gas industry experience, with a focus in engineering or economic analysis.
Experience with Enersight software, moderate to advanced user.
Experience with oil & gas contracts is preferable/ideal.
Bilingual (Spanish and English) is helpful in the role, but not mandatory.
Location:
Onsite in The Woodlands, Texas Candidates must be available to reliably commute to the office as needed during the week.
Position does not include relocation assistance.
