Manager - Solution Marketing Management - Company specializing in BSM Software (Houston, TX)

oUnderstand the assigned market and the buyer personas in the market oUnderstand IT management trends and regulatory trend that impact the market oGain agreement between PM and Sales on solutions plans and go to market plans to support the business plan.
Develop solutions content, assist in strategic deal support, develop messaging and participate in go to market strategy planning.
Specific activities include:
1.
Responsible for evolving BMC's Performance & Availability solutions success in the market by developing solution's marketing strategies, creating engaging content for external and internal audiences, and enabling the field sales teams for assigned solutions areas.
2.
Facilitate cross-organizational teams to develop marketing content in a digital marketing engagement; and drive field enablement to ensure sales has the solution and market information necessary to win in the marketplace.
3.
Closely collaborate with Product Management for assigned solutions areas in developing Go to Market strategy, assisting in relative targeting and business value determination.
4.
Work with extended teams, including Product Management, Marketing Programs, Analyst Relations, PR, Field Marketing, other Solutions Marketing, and sales/SC teams to build Go-To-Market strategies that drive P&A results.
5.
Focus on the Performance & Availability brand belief, highlighting core, sustainable differentiators between BMC and competitors and ensuring execution of positioning remains consistent in all communications.
6.
Supports solution sales initiatives demand and awareness programs/campaigns, adapts messaging and artifacts to sell through these initiatives.
7.
Support the growth and success of the business through involvement in sales opportunities.
9.
Lead effort to define, prioritize, and implement competitive positioning and messaging across the portfolio, and to develop competitive sales materials (such as benchmark results) to support sales.
10.
Develop and coordinate launch plans as appropriate for assigned solutions.
Position Requirements:
1.
Motivated and energetic with the ability to jump into a complex and diverse situation and quickly develop a plan for success and then take action.
2.
Strong oral and written communications skills used to create and present compelling messaging that communicates to various levels of internal and external personnel.
3.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and passion for marketing and P&A success by proactively thinking about and working to improve key deliverables to better support our bookings objectives 7.
Creation of compelling and engaging content which encompasses the P&A Brand Belief, persona definitions, and Program and field needs.
8.
Experience in marketing, competitive analysis and positioning and messaging.
9.
Ability to develop sales enablement tools and materials (presentations, scripts, qualification criteria, ROI).
11.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
