Job Overview:
The Indirect Materials Procurement Rep is a critical role within the indirect materials category team.
This position will work in a matrix organization taking primary work direction from a Director or Category Manager(s) supporting the service, quality, logistics, and supply aspects of suppliers in the category, but reporting into the Compliance, Systems and Process (CSP) manager.
The Indirect Materials Procurement Rep will be a strong leader who is able to handle most situations that arise which will allow the Director and Category Manager(s) to focus on strategies and negotiations that drive cost savings.
Specifically, this position will mainly work on capital and engineering projects within the indirect materials category team.
This role has significant responsibilities in managing and administrating contracts including negotiation with suppliers.
The strong performer can expect further career advancement with Ecolab and will have the opportunity to move into other procurement and supply chain roles with advancement opportunities to move into leadership roles.

Responsibilities:
:
Participate as a team member on the category team to assure security of supply, cost savings targets, and business cash goals.
The category team consists of the Director, Category Manager(s), and the Procurement Rep.
:
Works closely with Category Manager, and has significant responsibility supporting the contracts process.
Responsibility for assuring contracts within the category are completed, updated, accurate, and uploaded in the Ariba contract system.
:
Support the work practices of the compliance, systems, and processes within procurement by following established processes, operating efficiently in Ecolab's business systems, and execute procurement processes in a manner consistent with Ecolab ethical standards and compliance requirements.

Manages RFQ/RFP processes including stakeholder meetings to gather requirements.
:
Within Category Manager strategy, may negotiate and manage sourcing strategies to the benefit of business requirements.

Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or related field :
