Painter/ General Maintenance Technician
Summary:
The Painter/ General Maintenance Technician is a hands-on professional who acts under the direction of the Head Maintenance Technician and performs general painting, repairs, and replacements in our townhome community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Clean, prepare and protect work surfaces with drop cloths and masking.
Load, unload, prepare and cleanup of job site, materials and tools.
Analyze work surfaces and take corrective action for loose paint or other conditions which could affect job quality.
Setup and work on scaffolding and ladders.
Fills nail holes, cracks, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other filler.
Correctly paint various surfaces with brush, spray gun, or paint roller.
Apply varnish, polyurethane, primer, paint and other specialty coatings.
Select premixed paints; mix required pigment, oil, thinning or drying substances to match color spec.
Follow written and verbal instruction from supervisor.
Qualifications:
Minimum of a high school diploma.
Bilingual a plus (Able to speak English and Spanish).

years of proven painting and general maintenance experience.
Excellent oral communication skills.
