JOB LOCATION IS HOUSTON, TEXAS
The North American division of a European Corporation requires a Sales & Marketing Director in Houston, TX who brings superb knowledge of process industry applications for specialized capital equipment. In broad terms, the challenge is to strategize & direct all North & Central America Sales and Marketing initiatives for the likes of Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical, Power and Pharmaceutical industry applications. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Sales & Marketing Director will inherit a team of deeply qualified Regional Sales Managers who, in turn, manage Independent Sales Agents and Distributors in their territories and, in addition, the Marketing Manager and a small team of Specialists. The prime mandate of this role is to develop and deploy mid-range (3 to 5 years) market penetration strategies and ensure that Sales Managers get the requisite Applications Engineering and Marketing support. Well-respected as an industry technology leader, our client operates in a Business Model that straddles standard products & engineered packages best sold through Distribution Channels and custom designed Engineered Systems sold directly to end-users or through EPC firms. Our ideal candidate has a track record of managing success in both of these go-to-market strategies with particular achievements earning specified product status with EPC's and Fortune 100 corporations. Additional selection criteria will be proven talents hiring & developing Sales Managers, nurturing of supportive relationships with Engineering & Manufacturing leadership to achieve superior Customer Satisfaction and envisioning & communicating aggressive market penetration opportunities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
