Frontline Source Group - temporary staffing and direct hire firm - is looking for a Corporate Recruiting Manager for our West Houston, TX client for a direct hire opportunity.
Summary:
The Corporate Recruiting Manager is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national sourcing plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
Key Accountabilities:
Work with hiring managers on recruiting planning meetings
Create job descriptions
Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position and communicate accordingly
Efficiently and effectively fill open positions and track data accordingly for monthly reporting
Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
Build networks to find qualified passive candidates
Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
Utilize the Internet for recruitment
Post positions to appropriate Internet sources
Improve the company website recruiting page to assist in recruiting
Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups and employees
Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads
Attend local professional meetings and membership development meetings.
Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition
Develop working relationships within colleges to aid in recruiting
Give presentations at colleges, attend student group meetings, and increase college awareness of the company before and after career fairs
Manage the use of recruiters and headhunters
Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
Conduct prescreening interviews
Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
Perform reference checks for potential employees
Assist in interviewing and selecting employees onsite
Assist in preparing and sending offer packages
Perform other special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
High-school diploma required
Minimum two (2) years on-the-job experience, preferably in Oil & Gas Service sector
Possess computer proficiency in Windows, Power Point, MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with Ceridian ATS is desirable
Must be comfortable with personal interaction with all levels of professional and non-professional personnel and assert in a confident and professional manner
Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience recruiting for positions such as: A, B and C Operators, Engineers, I/E field personnel, Piping designers, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
