Able to operate Vertical CNC Mill and Horizontal CNC Bore Mill
Read and interpret blueprints
Understand, interpret and edit of G-Code programs
Proper and safe loading and unloading of parts in CNC machinery
Recognize, deploy and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling
Inspect completed parts as required and fill out inspection report
Use gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
Mark tracking numbers on part (Work Order, Purchase Order, Part Number and Serial Number)
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or needed repairs to group leader or manager
Able to perform all job duties of lower level
Assist in training of lower level employees
Perform daily and regular cleaning in work area
Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Bring problems to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders, Safety/Environmental Manager, or Director of Human Resource

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to manual material handling and operating equipment
Ability to work with coworkers, including management and multiple departments
Ability to make decisions pertaining to your duties. An error in judgment could cause scrap parts, loss of income, customer goodwill, as well as possible safety hazards to you and coworkers
Self-Motivated and positive attitude
Ability to operate forklifts
Ability to perform advanced math skills. Ability to apply concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fraction, geometry and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication
Strong decision making skills -Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to read and understand complex CNC programs, make edits to programs at machine controls
Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales
Strong understanding in blue print reading, geometric tolerance interpretation
Ability to perform complete setups on CNC milling machines and prove out unproven programs
Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines
Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions

Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
Ability to read and write English
Minimum 6 years experience in set-up CNC 4-axis horizontal milling, CNC vertical milling machines
Must be familiar with CNC Controls; (Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma, Toshiba and others), CNC Programming is a plus
Strong finishing skills on large metal pieces 2' to 12' and up to 60
tons is a huge plus

Special Requirements
Must be willing and able to work overtime as required to meet customer requirements
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts as required to meet customer requirementsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
