The District Sales Manager's primary role is to orchestrate, align and leverage the field and corporate resources to maximize impact and return on investment. This position is our face to the customer. The District Sales Manager also leads and mentors the Metro Jobsite Specialists in the assigned territory.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Sales Activities:
Conduct sales activities to maximize sales of all our products to dealers, distributors and national accounts.

Leadership Functions:
Supervises, trains and directs the activities of the Metro Jobsite Specialist's within assigned territory.

Business Plan:
Works with Regional Manager in formulating market plans, budgets and forecasts.

Training:
Assists in creating and conducting effective training programs for Metro Jobsite specialists.

Distribution Relations:
Develops close relationships with the sales and sales management of distribution channels in assigned territory.

Report Generation:
Generates and submits to Regional Manager all reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

Trade Associations:
Assures increase market penetration in the Rental industry through direct contact and involvement in local industry trade associations.

Safety:
Provides assistance in support of the safety strategy to reduce work related injuries.
Promotes a safe working environment.
Performs all job functions in a safe manner and maintains safety awareness.
Reports known accidents, injuries and unsafe practices or conditions to safety manager.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other related business program is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a construction sales role.
Supervisory experience is preferred.
Knowledge of our equipment, its applications and markets are preferred.
A basic understanding of competitive equipment and competitor's market tactics is required.
An understanding of business concept and marketplace functions of Distribution Dealers, Rental Dealers and End Users in the construction industry.
Excellent verbal, written and public speaking skills.
Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills.
Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Physical Demands and/or Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to operate a variety of motor vehicles such as truck, panel truck, compact equipment, hook up/unhook trailer, unload trailer. Must be able to lift 20lbs and travel up to 75%.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
