Our client is a leading provider of large-bore diesel engines and turbomachinery for marine and stationary applications. With over 200 years of operation, they employ over 14,000 people at more than 100 sites around the world.
They are looking to hire an IT Coordinator for their West Houston location. The IT Coordinator provides project coordination for SAP activities and acts as tier
one support for IT applications. Develops and disseminates training based on core
applications. Acts as first contact for ticketing dispatch system.
-SAP: Provides project coordination support for new and open items. Develops
trainings including EBTs for documented workflows. Acts as primary contact for
SAP ticket resolution (general support). Provides business analysis support and
technical documentation of requirements for feature requests and system
changes. External vendor scheduling and coordination as it relates to SAP
development.
-Ticket System: Acts as first line of dispatch on all inbound IT requests. Provides
weekly and monthly reporting on ticket and resource statistics.
-SharePoint: Provides tier one support of the application once a site has been
released from marketing and communications.
-Core Application Support: Provides tier one support and training on core
business applications including the MS Office Suite, Kronos, MOVI, Cisco IP
communicator, and Xmedius fax software.
-Department Admin: Assists in travel scheduling, purchase requests, gathering
approvals and special projects as assigned by Head of Department or Manager of
IT
Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience
-Project Management / IT Coordination
-SAP
-IT Training/facilitation
-Knowledge of Microsoft Applications including SharePoint
-Electronic Training Development
-Functional business analyst for application
-Ticketing systems
-Ability to work with professional confidence and high degree of independency
-High degree of customer orientation
-Team player - maintains good relations with colleagues
-Very good coordination and communication skills in a highly dynamic
environment
-Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Word, and Excel)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
