Exciting Opportunity!!!! Our client is seeking a Development Analyst III to join their team and help design and develop process to move data between premise and AWS. In addition, configure and maintain AWS EMR environment as well as components in Hadoop ecosystem. Work on HBase design, data ETL using Hive or Shark or Pig.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant business discipline from an accredited four-year college or university or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Solid knowledge of hadoop architecture and ecosystem(namenode, datanodes, jobtracker, task trackers, Hive, Pig, Flume, Hbase, etc) Strong Java programming skills, experience with Python is a plus Strong Linux experience including complex shell scripting Hands on experience with integration between AWS services (EMR, EC2, S3) AND premise data source
