Nationally accredited PEO, looking for a Director of Human Resources.
Impacts the organizations HR image by being a spokesperson in the community regarding HR practices and law. Plans and administers policies relating to all phases of transactional and strategic human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or with the support of a service team. The candidate must have experience working with multiple small to mid-sized enterprises and can demonstrate a history of providing astounding customer care.
Job Duties:
-Write and deliver presentations to client companies, local organizations, etc.
-Serve as the frontline expert for company as it relates to HR.
-Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
-Recruit, interview, evaluate, and select client employees as requested to fill vacant positions utilizing an applicant tracking system, and other technologies.
-Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
-Manage and document client service activities in a customer relationship management system. This may include client project plans, strategic and transactional HR related activities such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics.
-Coordinate client management/employee training and performance management utilizing on line programs and HR software.
-Advise client management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
-Respond to client inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
-Investigate accidents and prepare reports for insurance carrier if required.
-Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
-Prepare budgets and cost analysis on a variety of human resources projects.
-Conduct client expectation meetings to review service history and develop a service plan for strategic HR service delivery.
-Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations as needed.
-Maintain close and constant contact with client companies to establish a proactive service relationship and promote retention.
-Support the organizations high standards for Customer Care while performing as a key member of a service team.
-Partner in the organization and carrying out of the training program for HR Advisors.
-Review employee job descriptions and supervisory responsibilities to advise clients on how to classify employees for overtime purposes.
-Advise clients on how to maintain personnel and other employee records in strict accordance with state and federal laws.
-Assist client management with employee terminations, including exit interviews, severance, and releases, if any.
-Provide anti-harassment, discrimination, and other training to client employees, especially those in supervisory positions.
-Assist client management to comply with other employment laws and regulations.
-Conduct investigations and EEO responses for clients.
Requirements:
-Masters degree in Human Resources or related field.
-SPHR certification.
-10
years experience in Human Resources.
-Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, but not required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
