Valet Waste, the nation's leading provider of door step trash and recycling collection services, is hiring PT service valet's in your area. Zip codes 77008, 77024, 77041, 77055, 77056, 77065, 77070.
The service valet is responsible for PT door to door collection of trash and recycling items within assigned apartment communities. The salary for this position ranges between $500 - $1200 a month in bi-weekly installments. The days of service is Sunday-Thursday, with start times at 8PM each night. Days off will be Friday, Saturday, and a majority of Sunday until 8PM that evening.
MUST HAVE A PICK UP TRUCK AND SMART PHONE (ANDROID 2.2 OR IPHONE 4.3OS OR NEWER WITH DATA PLAN)
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect waste and recycling door to door within an assigned apartment community and transfer to the trash compactor/dumpster onsite. Collection begins at 8PM each night.
Inspect and maintain trash compactors/dumpsters, halls, stairs and floors according to VW standards.
Document and report every night while on site (via iValet smart phone application) all property and resident non-compliances and compactor/dumpster arrival and departures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle
Must maintain valid documentation - DL, auto liability insurance, etc
Ability to drive locally to other properties as needed
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Flexibility to work and/or be on call during night time hours. Must be available between 8PM - 11PM
Ability to work outdoors and work/drive in changing weather conditions
Abilitiy to climb stairs, walk distances, and be exposed to disagreeable odors
