o Service all IT needs for assigned International region. Facilitate work between the local IT support teams/service providers and appropriate BITS group(s). Manage and participate in projects including new country entrances, office openings, drilling vessel fit-outs and others as required.
o Provide service delivery within the team and model the same behavior in your personal work habits. Serve as an advocate for your customers. A thorough understanding of field site operations is critical for this role.
o Directly support multiple technologies including PCs, printers, UPSs, local file/print servers, network infrastructure, cabling infrastructure, E&P systems and other systems as required. Continue to stay abreast of technical issues that impact your customers. Ensure BITS standards are strictly followed for infrastructure deployments.
o Analyze problems and customer issues quickly, making sure the appropriate level of resources are engaged to solve the problem in an acceptable timeframe. Develop strong relationships to easily engage technical resources from other IT groups as needed.
o Be flexible and willing to adapt to changing business requirements. Continuously learn technologies, customer business needs, and apply technologies to customer needs. Identify opportunities for improvement.
o Prepare regular written and verbal presentations and reports. Keep local assigned sites informed of upcoming activities. Keep customer base informed of changes and issues with the IT environment. Work with other IT groups to ensure a positive customer experience.
o Build and maintain a strong relationship with key customers and key service partners. Meet regularly with key customers. Maintain a network across the various IT departments to enable cross-functional analysis and problem resolution.
o Plan and forecast projects and initiatives by working closely with business units, BITS teams and vendors/service providers budgets, site growth, technology refreshes, etc.
o Ensure in-country IT resources are enabled with proper tools, skills and process.
o Availability for high priority cases and emergencies in assigned areas. Ability to work with different time-zones. Evening meetings sometimes required. On-call rotation is required.
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma/GED required; BS in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Languages
Ability to speak foreign languages is preferred French, Portuguese .
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 25%.
Work Schedule
This position is eligible for the 9/80 work schedule.
Relocation
This position is not eligible for domestic or international relocation.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
