Job Description:
To meet 2014 medical billing requirement this project focuses on converting ICD9 to ICD10 billing codes. The job will include the following tasks:
1. Manually map ICD10 codes to existing vocabulary of clinical concepts
2. Validate any software-generated code mapping performed is accurate
3. Configure existing vocabulary terms as needed to include accurate billing descriptions
4. Using a proprietary rules engine, create oncology/hematology diagnosis-specific ICD10 templates based on existing prototypes to support new codes. A senior Content developer will be available to assist with complex algorithms as needed.
5. Create test plans and participate in the QA process. Troubleshoot issues as needed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
