Possess 2 years of progressive experience in a fast paced high volume recruitment field with a combination of corporate and industrial recruitment experience. (experience with staffing agency does not meet this requirement) Prior experience of working with companies with an established Affirmative Action Plan. Working knowledge of OFCCP, EEOC ADEA, FLSA, Immigration and Nationality Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Safety Rules, laws, guidelines and other applicable local, state and federal laws and practice areas, policies and procedures. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/work experience. Must have Intermediate Computer skills in programs such as MS Word, Excel & Outlook, etc.
This position is location in East Houston.
Working hours: M-F 8a-5p
REQUIRED
-Must have two (2) years of current work experience as an HR Generalist with emphasis on Employee Relations. Possess a progressive experience assessing and guiding management on how to avert, deal and properly handle employee relations issues
-Working knowledge of ADEA, FLSA, Immigration and Nationality Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Safety rules, laws, guidelines and other applicable local, state and federal laws and practice areas, policies and procedures
-Prior experience dealing with workplace investigations in response to allegations of discrimination
-Experience with Labor/Employee relations
-Prior experience reviewing and creating HR policies and procedures
-Experience developing and implementing disciplinary procedures
